Some more Jersey...

Here are just some random pictures from the last couple days:
Oh I can barely stand it. This baby is a complete JOY.

Josie loves to swim. She points out the swimming pool every morning, "Mimmin Pool RIGHT dare!"

Just hanging out with Poppop.

This afternoon was very relaxing, just me and the kids. Josie and I went for a little "Josie length" walk. I love that she gets to explore the same places I did as a kid.

Somehow on the first or second day we were here, Josie came into contact with some poison ivy. And, since she is my daughter, her hands are covered in it. They were bothering her tonight so I got out the band-aids.

Sorry for those genes, sweet girl.

A much needed vacation

I am in New Jersey with the kids (Tom will be joining us next week) visiting my family. My parents house is WONDERFUL and I feel like after one night I have slept as much as I did all last week. I have needed this so much, for so many reasons.

Its also great for Josie. My sister and her 3 kids live a quarter mile away, across a field. Playmates that walk over a couple times a day? Okay!

Josie was thrilled to learn there was a swing set right outside the back door. (We haven't been here for almost a year, so she doesn't really remember much from last time)

My four siblings all live in the area, 3 of them within a quarter mile, and Brian about 45 minutes away. Every month they have Family Dinner. And tonight was it. And it was SO fun.

Brian is doing really well.

This is Bri's fiance, Jamie. Her birthday was this past Friday so my mom made her a pink cake. She said she hadn't actually had a cake for her birthday in years.

We are here to change that :)

My sister Jen.

Mommom is definitely a favorite person around here. Her name is being called by a little one almost constantly. (Although I should note that Tristan calls both her and my Dad "Mommom"...haha)

Playing in the dirt.

Like mascara, once dirt and tears mix, there is no hiding the fact that you've cried. This is exactly one minute before bath and bedtime. :)

Father's Day.

I'd have to say there are two really important dad's in my life. The first one taught me how stuff worked, prayed with me when I was scared and walked me down the isle on my wedding day. He is a wonderful man,  and I am so proud to be his daughter. I am so blessed.

This is my Dad with Josie, the day after we brought her home from the hospital.

This is my Dad with Uri, the day we brought him home too.
(I love these pictures. He adores his grandbabies)

Happy Father's Day, Daddy.

The other guy I met in college, fell in love with and had my children with. He is a wonderful husband and an amazing father. I am so proud to be his wife and have him as the father of my babies.

Happy Father's Day, Honey.

For his cousins...

My sister sent some jammies a couple weeks ago, and although they are still a little big, I put the pants on Uri this morning cause everything else was in the laundry. The cuteness is out of control now. His cousins picked it out and wanted a picture...so here ya go guys!
He can't wait to meet you!!
