bookends

Well I'm guessing summer is coming to an end pretty soon. Yesterday Josie was playing in her pool and I was overwhelmed by how fun the last few months have been. We have done so much and my little baby is now a full-on toddler, with pigtails and a brilliant toothy smile.

half-way

Okay, so 20 weeks is only halfway if you ignore the fact that you have no clue you're pregnant for the first 6 weeks and that the last 6 weeks feel like 6 months. :)

But here we are! Having a boy and super excited!

Someone asked the other day, "Oh, are you keeping the name a secret again this time?"

"Well so far we don't have a name at all yet!"

But we are working on it.

And I am feeling great and enjoying being pregnant again.

We are blessed.

Playground...

We usually hit up the playground just around the corner from us, but the other day we decided to take a walk overlooking the bay and then check out this park. It was a lot of fun...

This is us looking at the boats.

Now for some park fun!

This is just s snippet of Josie checking stuff out...
Just being her adorable self.

The Huntington...

A couple weeks ago Tom was working a Saturday (possibly the lamest thing on Planet Earth) so Josie and I decided to go up to Altadena and visit my friend Jenny. She fed us a great lunch and then took us to the Huntington , which she had passes to. We walked through the gardens (beautiful) and they even had a whole little section for kids, which Josie LOVED.

'
They had a section full of these little fountains...

They also had a cute little house made of shrubbery...

And a tunnel with rainbow lights inside. It was pretty long, but Josie just ran right through it...

round peg in a square hole...

Josie decided she wanted her ball to come with her on the slide...

Hmmmmmm....

Grrrr...

Come on!

Huh.

It wasn't until a towards the end of the struggle that I thought, "WHY in the world aren't I videoing this?" Here is what I was able to catch (sorry about how bumpy it is, you can hear me laughing)
